How to make diamonds with pearls?

If you created pearl bracelets in your childhood then perhaps this pearl weaving tutorial will remind you of memories. It is the weaving technique to create flowerbracelets also called daisy bracelets with seed beads . This technique has been slightly adapted and modified in this video. With the use of Miyuki delicas pearls which have a cylindrical shape we obtain diamonds instead of rosettes. You can totally choose to do this tutorial with classic rockeries, you will get a different but equally interesting result.

In reality, as we add beads between the spaces created in the first round, it is also a circular peyote. And the part that separates the diamonds is made with the ladder stitch technique , scale point or square point which is also the technique that creates the base of a Brick Stitch weaving. You see, this tutorial is very simple but you will use 3 different weaving techniques to make it!

Of course you can choose to wear only one of these bracelets but we advise you to wear them in accumulation, either this same model redone in different colors, or with other gold or silver bracelets according to your preference. The trend in recent years is to wear lots of small bracelets on the wrist at the same time. This is called jewelry stacking .

Do you like this trend? So here are some tutorials to complete your collection of small handmade bracelets:

DIY miyuki mini diamond or daisy trio color bead bracelets

  1. Cut 1.7 m of weaving wire the color of your pearls. You can use Miyuki beading thread, KO thread, or 0.10 mm fireline. The thread will be visible, so choose the one that is closest to your pearls.
  2. Thread 4 pearls, place them 15 cm from the end of the wire and iron in the 1st strung pearl. Tighten the wire securely.
  3. Between each space separating the pearls, add a new pearl.
  4. Place yourself on the other side of the end of the thread on the weaving, in the second bead threaded in step 3.
  5. Thread a golden bead, go through the bead from which the wire comes out but through the other side. Tighten the weaving. Return to the golden without crossing the thread over the pearls. Make a second round then add another red pearl which you will fix in the same way.
  6. Thread 4 pearls and repeat step 2 and 3. However, use the red pearl attached at the end of step 5 as a pearl to place between the 4th and 1st pearl of the rosette.
  7. Go through the beads to go to the other side of the rosette and repeat steps 5 and 6 again until the bracelet is the length of your wrist - 1 cm.
  8. Cut the extension chain to retrieve a closed link that will serve as a closed ring to finish the bracelet without the risk of the wire slipping from the ring. Attach the link to the bracelet as shown in the video.
  9. Open the clasp ring, slide the link in and close it.
  10. Adjust the length of the extension chain and hang it in the same way on the bracelet.
