How to make textured leather earrings?

Realize very light earrings with falls of leather with multiple textures. These falls of calf leather and goat are sold in pouches containing more than ten different leathers. These leathers are exactly what we need to work jewelry, they are of excellent quality and the skin is fine. Working them does not require specialized tools, a simple pair of scissors and glue for fabric are enough to realize original creations.

You will also find on sale at Perles and co other simple leathers without textures. There are bags with shades of colors or all mixed colors.

Step 1

Choose a template or a cookie cutter to reproduce the chosen shape with a pen on the back of your leather. Draw 2 pieces in each color.

2nd step

Cut out the shapes drawn with a chisel.

Step 3

Place a dot of glue at the top of the back of your shape and then put the nail on it. Press the metal parts tightly against each other with your fingers to avoid damaging the primer. Your jewels are finished.
