How to decorate creoles with cowrie shells?
In this new tutorial we propose to customize creoles to decorate with pretty cowries and copper wire.
A simple DIY but that will ask you a little concentration to wind the wire at each end of the half cowries but we will not say more, go a little lower for the steps ...
Before you start, do not hesitate to go to see all our tutorials with cowrie shells to use and abuse the stacking of jewels!
A golden and elegant rush , ultra trendy barrettes , red bohemian earrings , or a parride with an ethnic polymer bib for you to choose your style!
Discover also all our shells ! Whole or half cowry shells for your jewels or decorative element, also crack for our charms and pendants .
Steps
Step 1: Cut about 20 cm of copper wire and then wind it by making 2 turns at each end of each cowrie (to go around the creole take 9 cowries for each creole). This makes it possible to fix cowries together and then attach them to Creole.
Step 2: Attach the cowrie "garland" previously made with a piece of copper wire, attach it to the creoles by securing between each cowries. Do not hesitate to refer to the photo at the end of the tutorial to view the explanation of the finished creation).
Step 3: Do the same thing with the other Creole.
Do not hesitate to tighten the garland of cowries to the creole so that nothing moves, it's our little tip of the day!
It's up to you to play now, to your claws.
