Miyuki brand beads have been all the rage for several years now, and even though their flagship beads are delicas 11/0, there are times when we wish we could go back to the seed beads of our childhood. Unlike classic seed beads, delicas are cylindrical in shape.
The beauty of Miyuki beads is their incredible regularity and finesse. This makes it possible to create bracelets with regular patterns and a more professional look than ever before. This tutorial shows you a free grid of Seed beads 15/0 and Seed beads 8/0 bracelets. It's perfectly possible to mix beads in a weave, as long as you can maintain the regularity of the weave. Here, two Seed beads 15/0 are almost the size of one Seed bead 8/0, so they can be mixed. For your information, "15/0" and "8/0" represent the size of the beads. The larger the number, the smaller the beads.
Here you'll find a tutorial on how to choose beads for loom weaving.
This tutorial does not introduce you to the technique of loom weaving. If you're a beginner, we recommend these tutorials and data sheets:
The tips used are special tips for Seed beads 8/0, also available in silver and in another model. If weaving 15/0 seed beads is too much for you, you can also weave bracelets with 8/0 seed beads.
The list of products for the Silver Version bracelet is shown at the bottom of the page in the variation section.
