Feathers, whether natural or dyed, add an airy, bohemian touch to your DIY costume jewelry. To attach them, simply use a feather, a mini lace clip and a little jewelry glue, while choosing the finish that matches your creation. Choose colorful feathers like violet for original earrings or necklaces.
Here is in some steps how to use feathers to create earrings for example.
Material and advice :
A feather, for this example we used a Violette feather.
A mini end clip, we used a mini end clip 1,2 mm bronze tone.
A nylon jaw flat nose pliers.
Step 1 :
Take the feather.
Step 2 :
Put a little bit of glue on the end of the feather to avoid it to come undone.
Step 3 :
Cut a part of the feather end.
Step 4 :
Place the mini end clip, and close it using the nylon jaw flat nose pliers.
Here is the result !!
Now you can link the feather to an earstud, for example.
Take the pen.
Put a little glue on the tip of the feather to prevent it from coming loose.
Cut off part of the tip of the feather.
Place the mini lace clip and close it with the nylon end clip.
You can now connect your feather to an ear stud, for example.
