Shells for creating costume jewelry come in models with or without rings, each with specific uses. Shells with rings are ideal for attaching elements inside, while those without rings allow greater design flexibility, such as attaching beads or chains. Choose shells according to the type of creation you wish to achieve for a professional, aesthetic result.
You can easily make your own chain tassels with remaining pieces of chains.
In the example below we use a 3mm chain Old Silver tone, a 9mm end cap Old silver tone and a 50mm eye pine Old siver tone.
Material and instructions:
You will need combo 3-in-1 pliers or cutting and round nose pliers.
Flat nose pliers.
A piece of chain or various pieces of chains.
A 50mm eye pin.
An end cap of your choice.
Step 1:
Cut 10th pieces of chain of same length.
Step 2:
Pass the eye pin through its own loop.
Step 3:
Tighten to shape a loop.
Step 4:
Pass the pin through this new loop.
Step 5:
String the end cap onto the pin.
Step :
Shape a loop with the end of the pin.
