How to adjust earring pushers?

Ear studs are the most popular earrings for their incredible variety of shapes and ease of wear. The butterfly-shaped fasteners on the back are called poussoirs or poussettes, and even papillons. They can be silver, gold filled, stainless steel, gold plated... The stroller clasp is a classic clasp that's very easy to handle: just pass the ear stud or earring post through the hole in the earlobe, then insert it into the plunger to hold the earring in place.
Their job is to ensure that earrings stay in place all day, without the risk of losing them. To do this, they need to be properly fixed to the earring stem.

• They can be too tight: in this case, it will be difficult to insert the rod into them. If you force too much, you risk breaking the stem.

• If they're too tight, you'll need to enlarge the space between the two butterfly rings. Place the ends of the round pliers on either side of the plunger, then gently carve the pliers.
• If they are too loose, you should instead tighten them. Place your round-tipped pliers in the same way as before, then tighten. If this doesn't work, use a flat-tip-nylon-14-cm-handle-ergonomic-by-perlesco-blue-x1-p-439841.html">flat-tip pliers, pressing gently.

Here's a simple and effective method for cleaning your earring clasps:

• Fill a bowl with warm water. Add a small amount of mild soap and stir well until the soap is completely dissolved.
• Place your earring clasps in the bowl and leave them to soak for a few minutes. This will help loosen accumulated dirt and residue.
• Use a soft bristle toothbrush to gently scrub clasps. For hard-to-reach areas where dirt can accumulate, you can use a toothpick.
• Rinse the clasps with warm water to remove any soap residue. Be sure to rinse well to avoid skin irritation from soap residue.
• Wipe the clasps with a soft cloth or microfiber towel. Make sure they are completely dry before putting them back on your earrings.
