Put a dot of glue in the ball chain tip.
End caps for ball chains offer an elegant alternative to conventional clasps for your chain jewelry. Easy to use, they attach simply by inserting the chain and closing the ferrule before adding the clasp. For best results, use a bronze ferrule with matching ball chain and flat-nose pliers to avoid damaging the elements.
Step-by-step instructions to mount ball chains terminators.
Material and advice:
In the illustration below we have used a ball chain terminator bronze tone.
A 1.5mm ball chain bronze tone.
Some Hasulith glue.
Step 1:
Put some glue inside the terminator.
Step 2:
Position the last ball of the chain into the terminator.
Step 3:
Close the terminator using crimping or nylon jaw pliers.
Be careful not to flatten the terminator.
Now you can easily connect the terminator to a clasp, using an open jumpring.
Put a dot of glue in the ball chain tip.
Place the last ball of the chain into the ball chain attachment.
Close the ball chain tip with pliers.
Crush bead pliers are fine, otherwise you can use flat-tip or nylon pliers, but be careful not to flatten the tip.
Here's the result!!!
You can now connect your assembly to a clasp by placing an open ring into the ring of the ball chain end cap.
