Add a touch of sparkle and luxury to your Jesmonite creations with these glittering gold sequins.
The versatility of these flakes means you can use them in a variety of ways: incorporate them directly into the Jesmonite liquid composite mix for a homogeneous effect, where each flake particle is integrated into the mass for a subtle sparkle.
Alternatively, you can sprinkle them delicately into the silicone mold before casting the Jesmonite, creating a more concentrated effect on the surface, ideal for a pronounced visual impact. This flexibility in application offers great freedom for DIY personalization of your projects.
What can you do with Jesmonite glitter?
Imagine coasters with a shimmering gold rim, small decorative trays for your jewelry, elegant cubbyholes, unique soap dishes, or light-catching flowerpots and candleholders.
For jewelry lovers, these glitters can transform pendants or earrings into distinctive, modern and original Jesmonite jewelry.
How to use Jesmonite
1 - Mix the components, preferably with an electric mixer. The ratio is 1 part liquid to 2.5 parts powder.
2 - Add the colorant(s) you wish.
3 - Mold in the silicone mold of your choice
4 - Remove air bubbles
5 - Leave to air dry (between 20 and 30 minutes).
6 - Unmold
The final result can be sanded, waterproofed with pore-filler varnish (compatible with food contact) and varnished with satin varnish (water- and oil-repellent) for a glossy finish.
