These flat-headed nails, also called jewelry pins, are essential elements for making 14K gold filled jewelry.
These jewelry primers can be used to create dangling earrings, charms and pendants, as well as to attach beads to a chain.
Be careful to choose a jewelry stud according to the diameter of the hole in your beads: it must pass through without obstruction, and its head must stop the bead (and not pass through it!).
How to use jewelry pins
Pass a bead over the nail and form a simple loop or pigtail ring using jeweler's pliers. All you have to do is hang your creation on a jewelry primer or chain.

What is gold filled (laminated gold)?
Gold filled is the treatment of a metal (often brass) using a mechanical process to apply a layer of gold alloy of varying titration. The weight of gold alloy corresponds to 1/20 of the total weight of the product.
For the more inquisitive, we explain the differences between gold filled and gold plated, so you can choose the material that's right for you.
Much more resistant than conventional gold plating, a Gold Filled product will oxidize much more slowly.
If you want to further slow down the oxidation process, you should handle these components with gloves and avoid contact with perfumes, skin oils and lotions. You should also store them in a dry, temperate place.
