What is the Fimo clay? It is a polymer clay that hardens when cooked. Fimo is the best known brand but there are others. It is ideal for making jewelry, magnets, key chains, figurines ... Find all our tutorials of decorative objects and jewelry in polymer clay!
Very easy to model, the Fimo Effect paste is as flexible as Fimo Soft. Some have a pearly, glittery, pastel, metallic, transparent, granite or phosphorescent.
Have fun mixing them to get unique effects. They are miscible with all other pastes in the Fimo range: soft, classic, kids or pro.
How to use the Fimo paste?
1) Work on a tile plate or a silicone mat.
2) Mix the polymer clay by hand, roller or machine.
3) Put it in shape.
4) Arrange your creations to cook on this plate.
5) When the oven is at 120°C, put your creations in the oven for 30 minutes.
6) Remove your creations from the baking sheet and let them cool.
7) Leave the oven door and the window open to air.
Use our modeling tools to shape your creations. Our cookie cutters and texture plates will allow you to make unique and original creations.
After drying, it is possible to sand, scrape, paint, sculpt or even varnish your objects.
