How to mount beads inside mounting rings to create beautiful creoles with your fine bead stock.
Mix beads of different sizes and colors. Use Miyuki or Preciosaseed beads, or mini-hematites for a successful mix!
A few tips:
You can use Tool Dip to surround your clamps with a coating that will limit marks and scratches on nails and rings.
Once the beads are threaded onto the nail and the nail secured on one side, pinch the nail between your fingers at the junction with the ring and bend it towards you. Then twist the stem around the ring with your fingers and continue turning with flat-nose pliers. Pull hard so that the rod wraps perfectly around the mounting ring. Make a total of 1? turns. Recut the nail and flatten the end against the ring.
Place the studs and turn the stems in the same direction for a more aesthetic result.
