Cut about 1.20 meters of silk thread. Tie several knots at the end to secure the future long necklace.

Thread the beads in the following order: heishi wood bead, natural wood bead, heishi wood bead. Alternate the different colors of heishi wood beads as shown in the photo to give the long necklace a more intricate look.

Thread the shells. To do this, wrap the silk thread around one end of the shell, then do the same around the other end. Feel free to wrap the silk thread around the shell several times to make sure it's secure.

After 30 cm, string only beads for 40 cm, as in step 2. Then continue with the shells to finish the long necklace over the next 30 cm.

Tie the two ends of the long necklace together, leaving some extra string. Attach a pompom to one of the strings. Then, attach seashells to the other string, tying a knot at one end each time.
