Simply add the charms to the rings, then hang them on the safety pin. Then close the rings with pliers to secure the charms.

You don't need to be an expert to create a piece of jewelry that makes an impact. With this safety pin brooch, you can easily create a piece that's just right for you.
The principle is simple: you start with a base and build around it. One charm, then two, then three... and little by little, your brooch takes shape. Browse our selection of charms and pendants to find the ones that match your style. What we love about this DIY is that there's no right or wrong combination. You can mix symbols, colors, shapes... or stick to something more discreet. And above all, it's an accessory you can really integrate into your looks: on a jeans pocket, overalls, a t-shirt or even a pair of Birkenstocks. Feel like adding a little movement?
A little chain goes a long way. Discover our stainless steel chains to create a more elaborate effect in seconds.

Simply add the charms to the rings, then hang them on the safety pin. Then close the rings with pliers to secure the charms.
If you want to add more charms, you can use a slightly larger ring: attach it to the safety pin and then add several charms.
For the cherry chain, I used a 2.5 cm piece of chain. I added a charm using an open ring, then attached it to the pin.
For the second brooch with the teddy bear, I took a longer piece of chain, about 10 cm, and attached it to both ends of the brooch with an open ring on each side.
