This first step is optional, but is more practical for making the necklace. Using an assembly tray makes it easier to visualize the placement of the beads.

To start the necklace, slide a Crimp bead into the wire, followed by a wire protector, then pass the wire back through the Crimp bead.
Using a pair of Crimp beads pliers, or flat-nose pliers, crush the bead.

Slide a bead cover over the bead to be crushed and close it with flat-nose pliers, without pressing too hard.

Now you can string the beads. You may have prepared your necklace using the tray, or you may wish to follow the order of the tutorial. In this case, string the beads in this order:
20 lapis lazuli beads, 4 white mother-of-pearl beads, 1 gold bead, 1 blue mother-of-pearl bead, 3 spinning tops, 1 blue mother-of-pearl bead, 1 gold bead, 4 white mother-of-pearl beads, 1 gold bead, 11 lapis lazuli beads, 1 gold beade, 2 blue mother-of-pearl beads, 2 white mother-of-pearl beads, 2 spinning tops, 2 white mother-of-pearl beads, 2 blue mother-of-pearl beads, 1 golden bead, 6 lapis lazuli beads, 1 white mother-of-pearl bead, 1 blue mother-of-pearl bead, 1 white mother-of-pearl bead.

Then pass the pendant through a ring and slide the ring through the wired wire.

Thread the rest of the beads in the reverse order of step 4.

When all the beads are threaded, pass the end of the thread through a Crimp bead as in step 2, then through a wire guard. Also pass the clasp ring through the wire guard and back through the bead to be crushed. Crush the bead and cover it with a crush bead cover.

On the other side of the collar, hook the extension chain onto the wire guard using a ring. Your necklace is now complete.
Use the remaining beads to make matching bracelets or other necklaces.
