How to make natural stone earrings?

Get in on the natural stone jewelry trend with these sunstone and aventurine earrings. Very quick and easy to make, this tutorial is suitable even for beginners.

In this tutorial, I've chosen to use one-step looper pliers. But if you don't want to invest in one-step looper pliers, we've got a technique sheet that will show you how to form a loop on a nail using round-tipped pliers.

I made this pair of dangling ear rings in orange hues to match the Peach Fuzz trend. But if you'd prefer to make this creation with other natural stones, it's possible! On our website, you'll find clover and 4 mm round beads in other stones. You can also change the ear stud if you wish - we have a wide choice on our website.

If you liked this tutorial and would like to discover other natural stone tutorials, please take a look at our Pierres J'aime collection. And don't forget to share your creations with us on social networks by tagging us on your publications. We love to see your creations and the variations you make!

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Natural stone pendant earrings : Step 1

To begin, cut your brass wire. Use one-step looper pliers to form a loop at one end of the wire.

Step 2

Then thread your natural stone clover, followed by 10 small beads.

Step 3

Form a circle with your thread and wind it between the clover and your circle of pearls to hold it in place. Make several turns to make sure it doesn't move.

Step 4

Add your stud by opening the stud ring with two pliers (flat or round-tipped). Pass your earring through and close the ring.

If you're a beginner, you can consult our technical data sheet, which will teach you how to open and close a ring correctly.
