Cut 45 cm of rectangular mesh chain.

Mesh chain necklaces are undeniably the trend of the fall-winter season! Ideal for evening wear, but also for everyday wear, mesh chain necklaces go with everything! So why not fall for them too? This tutorial, proposed by Marine, will teach you how to create a rectangle mesh chain necklace with a Lapis Lazuli gemstone pendant and a North Star charm. What's more, it's accessible from beginner level and takes just a few minutes to complete!
This tutorial is part of our Perlement Vôtrecollection of DIY jewelry. It's a special collection, since each of the creations was imagined and created by the winners of our Cré'Academy competition. You'll find five holiday-themed tutorials. We're sure you'll be able to find the perfect jewel to complement your New Year's Eve outfit!
For jewelry that lasts, Marine has opted for stainless steel materials only. To complete this tutorial, you'll need a striated rectangle chain, open rings, a clasp, a North Star charm and a faceted oval Lapis Lazuli gemstone pendant. Lapis Lazuli is a stone that has been used since Antiquity, notably to make sumptuous jewelry. Over the centuries, this fine stone has been considered a symbol of health, elegance, luck and power.
This necklace can be customized by adjusting the size of the rectangle chain, depending on the length and effect you desire. You can also replace the Lapis Lazuli pendant by choosing another gemstone from the wide selection on our website. Why not try Amazonite, Labradorite, Rose Quartz or Malachite?
