This tutorial will show you a way to make bow-shaped dangling ear rings with rhinestone chain. These trendy earrings add a festive touch to your outfit. Prepare your ear hooks. Place the earrings inside the earring holder and fold the prongs down one at a time with a pair of flat nose pliers, while holding the earring in place. To secure the cabochon, fold down the first claw on one side. Then, the second claw must be completely opposite the first so that the cap does not tilt to one side or the other.
Cut a 12 cm piece of rhinestone chain. Use a fine cutting pliers like a flush cutter to avoid distorting the cabochon holders when cutting the chain. Also cut two pieces of copper wire, 10 cm each. Fold them in half. Place the chain as shown in the photo, trying to have the same length of chain on both sides. Pass the first bent copper wire through the two holes where the chain is located to secure it. On the back side, twist the two pieces of wire and pass them through the next hole. The chain must be pressed tightly against the half-round. Do the same thing on the other side with the second piece of wire.
Cut a 13 cm piece of chain. Place it next to the first one, trying to have the same length on both sides. This chain is attached with one of the strands of copper wire that you have passed in front. You wrap the chain with this piece of wire and pass it back through the second hole in step 2. Do the same on the other side.
Cut a 14 cm piece of chain and place it against the second chain. Use the last piece of copper wire from the front to secure it between the last two holes. Do the same on the other side. Turn the loop over and twist the two pieces of wire on each side. Then thread them through a hole to bring them back to the front. Put glue on the back of the threads. Once dry, cut the copper wires that stick out in front.
Open the ring of the ear hook and slide it into the hole at the top of the half round, behind the chain. Add a charm to the center with a ring. Gently lift the chains in the center of the half-round from the top of the half-round. Put glue on the half-round and replace the chains on it so they stay in place.
