How to make beaded hearts?

This beginner bead bracelet tutorial teaches you how to make hearts withMiyuki seed beads. This pretty bracelet with small beaded hearts will be a great gift for a birthday. Make two matching ones for a friendship bracelet gift. We used Miyuki seed beads size 15/0 and 2mm pearl beads, but you can also make them with other bead sizes. For example, with 11/0 seed beads and 3 mm PureCrystal be ads. We used Fireline nylon wire because it is a tension resistant wire. The soft Miyuki wire usually used for bead weaving will be too fragile for this tutorial. Remember to get the right thread. You will also need a very fine needle since 15/0 seed beads are very small.

Be careful, if your needle does not go through the bead, do not force it, because you will break the bead. Seed beads are small glass beads. You will probably have to buy a finer needle or undo the weave and try with another bead instead. Sometimes some beads have a smaller hole than others.

The technique is simple: make a circle with beads and then add a bead between the beads to make the point of the heart. Then, add two beads in a row to make the rounding of the heart and skip a bead in the center to make the top of the heart that goes inside. By following the video tutorial beads, you will have no problem to achieve it.

Making beaded bracelets is a relaxing activity that can also be practiced with children of about 8 years and older. Sometimes even a little younger depending on the affinity of the children. It can be a great activity to keep the kids busy with creative activities during the vacations.

Bonjour,
