DIY Fruit Bracelet with seed beads

How to make a cherry bracelet with pearls?

This tutorial shows you how to make the famous little cherry bracelet that has come back in fashion lately. This classic from the 2000's will take us back to childhood, just like the daisy bracelets that we have made and remade with our friends. Let yourself be carried away and relax with this little 15 minute jewellery tutorial. These little bracelets will perfectly accompany your everyday outfits.

You can also reproduce the different fruits in beads presented: orange, raspberry, lemon and grape. Mix them up or repeat the same fruit several times to get several different bracelets. In this tutorial, we used Miyuki 11/0 seed beads but you can also do it with bigger beads, for example 8/0. However, you may want to use round beads rather than 11/0 delicas for once.

This bracelet is part of the Vitamin B(ijoux) tutorial collection. This is our August 2021 collection featuring adorable pastel and colorful beads on chewy jewelry. Check it out, you're bound to come across a tutorial that will make you fall in love.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
DIY Fruit Bracelet with seed beads : Step 1

Cut 35 cm of thread and thread it onto a needle. Thread two squeeze tubes and pass through the clasp ring. Pass through the two squeeze beads again in the other direction. You need to keep at least 3 or 4 cm of the thread that will pass twice through the beads. This thread is there in case the beads to be crushed are not tight enough.

Step 2
DIY Fruit Bracelet with seed beads : Step 2

Crush the tubes to be crushed with a pair of flat pliers near the clasp. Pull on the wire to check that it is well blocked. Thread 10 white beads, 1 gold Miyuki spacer, 1 green bead for the leaf (you can put two if you prefer), 2 red beads and then thread through the green bead (or both if you put two).

Step 3
DIY Fruit Bracelet with seed beads : Step 3

Thread 1 gold spacer, 10 white beads, 1 spacer, 1 green bead, the beads for the new fruit, in this case 5 orange beads, and thread through the green bead. For the grape, you will need 3 purple beads, 4 yellow beads for the lemon, and 4 pink beads for the raspberry.

Step 4

Repeat step 2 until the bracelet is about the size of your wrist. Then thread 2 crush tubes and pass through the last link of the extension chain. Go back through the crush tubes and into the beads for a few centimetres. Tighten the thread and crush the tubes with the flat pliers. Cut off the excess wire.
