Silver wire wrapping hoop earrings and gemstone charms

Here are the materials you will need to make these DIY creoles.

Cut about 60cm of wire to wrap around the entire creole. Start wrapping the wire around the creole making 3 to 4 turns. Don't worry if it moves a bit, once we add beads it will be more fixed. You can use a flat clip to make it easier to wrap the wire.

String your first hematite bead and run your wire behind the creole to secure it. Make 3 to 4 turns between each bead.

Continue the same process for when you are close to one of the rings of the creole, make 2 turns of thread after the ring, wedge your bead and make 2 turns of thread between the bead and the next ring.

Repeat this process to cover the entire creole. Finish by wrapping your thread around the creole 3 to 4 times and cut the excess thread if there is any with a wire cutter.

All you have to do is add your charms.

To do this, take a pair of flat nose pliers and a pair of round tip pliers and open your rings. Open your ring by positioning your pliers parallel to each side of the ring with the ring opening at the top. Rotate one clamp towards you and the other clamp away from you and you've just opened the ring! Now all you have to do is slide your charm, the creole and close it the same way you opened it!

We opted for an asymmetrical style between our two creoles but you can totally make them identical, the rendering will be similar :)
