How to integrate gold balls on a resin ring?

We see them everywhere on Instagram, all the influencers are wearing them, the colored resin rings are making a comeback. This regressive jewel that we wore in our childhood has become a must-have in a very short time. Square, oval or rectangle, they come in many shapes. You will find on our site a choice of colors of resin rings. And if you made yourself a colorful ring in the style of the 90s-2000s.

There is no shortage of DIY ideas to make original big rings: glue a resin cabochon, a big colorful flower, or a triangle cabochon... In this DIY tutorial, we will show you how to integrate small golden balls on the top of the ring, but you can also use elements to glue like this bee or this shell.

This DIY is available as a video on our Instagram. This is an accessible tutorial for beginners however you will need some time and patience to get the hang of the Dremel Stylo + correctly.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Large colored resin ring with golden balls : Step 1

Mark with a pencil the center of your ring to position a golden ball.

Use the ball cutter provided in the Dremel Stylo + kit, hold your ring firmly then make a pre-hole with the dremel in position 1 or 2.

Note that the technique is not difficult but to master the tool you will need practice and a little patience.

Step 2

After drilling all your notches, put a dot of glue. Use a toothpick for more precision.

Step 3

place your doped balls and let dry.

Your ring is finished.
