Make vintage earrings with a little Christmas flair in just 5 minutes. These earrings are made of green opaque resin drop beads and Malachite cabochons. These plastic drops for costume jewellery are available in several colors, including fuchsia pink as the example at the bottom of the page. Find these drops in these two other tutorials:
This combination of gemstone and resin beads will also look great with creamy white resin drops. You can find more ideas of beads association at the bottom of the page in the variation section.
In this tutorial, we have put shells on top of the resin drops. Shells are a kind of end cap that can be used in many ways. Here, they are used to finish the earrings.

Glue the Malachite cabochons into the earrings. Put a dab of glue in the center of the earring and press the cabochon. Let them dry for 24 hours before wearing them.

On two round head nails, add the malachite charms. To do this, gently open the rings with a pair of pliers and then, once the charms are on, close them by making sure the edge of the ring touches the nail shank.

Thread a drop and a shell onto the nail. Bend the base of the nail at 90° to the top of the shell. Recut the nail shaft, keeping a minimum of 8 mm. Grab the end of the shank with round pliers and turn the round pliers in the opposite direction to the bend until the ring is formed.

Open the earring ring and slide in your newly created ring.
