What is a cracker? In the Anglo-Saxon Christmas tradition, Christmascrackers are gifts in the shape of a papillote, which are put on the plates of each guest. At the beginning of the meal, each guest holds one end of the crackers of their right and left neighbors while crossing their arms. Once everyone is ready, everyone pulls hard to "crack" these giant paper candies and discover their contents...
You will see in this easy tutorial, making Christmas crackers is not that complicated and requires very little material.
What gift in the crackers? You can put inside "homemade" treats, such as chocolates, shortbread or candies, or handmade gifts such as small DIY costume jewelry made in the spirit of Christmas. Print the pattern on the back of the sheets (I used the thinner ones).
You can download the Christmas cracker template made by Eleanna Kotsikou.
Fold the sheet at the diamonds to cut with the scissors.
Cut out the outline of the pattern and cut the slots with the cutter.
Fold the pattern on the dotted lines.
Close the cracker and make a bow with satin ribbon. All that's left to do is to decorate them with confetti, chocolates, candies, costume jewelry... in other words, choose little touches that will please your guests!
