Learn how to weave peyote in this video. Peyote stitch is a loomless technique for weaving beads.
We recommend you use Miyuki beads, which are small cylindrical beads with a regular shape and a very large hole through which the thread can pass several times. Miyuki Delicas 11/0 are the most commonly used.
Which wire for Miyuki beads? Miyuki, KO, Sonoko, Hana, C-LON AA and One G wire are ideal for Peyote and Brickstitch weaving.
To weave beads with a needle, you'll need a Quick Start, which will help you get started.
You can use our tutorials as inspiration to make superb Miyuki bead weavings, for example a choker with a Peyote weave, a Peyote bracelet, or a Brickstitch and Peyote parrot.
Print out our blank Peyote grids to create your own weaving patterns. Be creative!
In this video we show you how to make a decrease with exposed thread.
