Here is a new bracelet design for men to make for yourself or to give as a gift. It's a very easy DIY that doesn't require jewelry clips. Of course, you can also make it for a woman too! And why not make a duo of matching bracelets for a couple? Remember to measure the wrist of the person you are going to make it for. Once the measurement is taken, you will have to add 1,5 to 2 cm to this measurement to have the length of the bracelet with the clasp. If you want to be able to try it on to be sure of the size, there are cone shaped bracelet measurers. You can put your bracelet on it and check that it is neither too big nor too small for your desired wrist size.
The bracelet is made of a 4 strands braid and a macramé knot at the clasp. The silver navy anchor clasp makes the bracelet easy to put on. Once on the wrist, it holds well. You can also stick your braid directly into a magnetic clasp for lace. In this case, no need to make macramé knots. I have put some other compatible clasps and strings in the variation section at the bottom of the page.
Tighten the braid for a nice result. You can also use only leather cords or only braided nylon thread for a vegan version. When you cut the leather cords, you can see the inside of the leather in a different colour. You can hide this with a black felt or a POSCA. If you have UV LED resin at home, you can use it to replace the glue at the end. It will be even more resistant, it doesn't work with magnetic clasps though, because the light won't reach the inside of the holes.
