Cut 1.2 m of weaving thread and tie it at the top of the drop with a double knot. Keep 10 cm of the thread end. Thread two Delicas 11/0 beads, wedge them against the outside of the drop, pass the needle under the bar of the drop and turn in the second bead so that the bead is wedged against the drop.

Tighten and return to the first bead from the outside. Return to the second bead from the bottom and tighten the weave again.

Thread a third delicas 11/0 bead, wedge it against the drop and the second bead, pass the thread under the bar and back into the bead.

Continue weaving the beads one by one on the drop. You should place a total of 31 Miyuki delicas 11/0 beads. Remove the thread from the needle and thread the 10 cm piece of thread through the needle. Thread through the first beads to hide the thread. Tighten well and cut the thread end flush with the weave.

Move to the seventh bead from the top, passing up through the second bead, down through the third bead, up through the fourth bead and so on. Thread two 15/0 seed beads and pass the needle under the thread connecting the seventh and eighth beads, tighten and then pass the needle back through the second seed bead.

This is the Brick Stitch weaving technique. This is the same technique that was used from step 2 to 4, but instead of hanging the beads on the drop, hang them on the threads of the beads below. Attach a total of 23 seed beads.

If the space between two beads becomes too large, then weave the next bead under the same thread as the previous one. The beads should be positioned symmetrically on each side of the drop.

Thread two new beads to go up one more row. Go under the wire connecting the second-to-last and the second-to-last beads of the previous row to attach the second bead. Attach a third bead by passing under the thread of the following beads.

Follow the white line: pass through the second bead of row 3, the third and then the fourth of row 2, then thread a 4 mm bead and a seed bead. Pass through the 4 mm bead and the fifth bead of row 2 and tighten.

Go into the sixth bead of row 2 and weave 2 rocailles 15/0 over it as shown in the photo. Repeat step 7 to attach a new 4mm bead in the same way.

Repeat steps 7 and 8 to attach a total of 5 x 4 mm beads and the beadlets in row 3. Finish the row with 3 beads.

Return to the second-to-last bead in row 3 by passing through the second-to-last bead. String 4 seed beads and pass through the seed bead on top of the 4 mm bead. Then thread 5 seed beads and pass through the first seed bead on the other side of the 4 mm bead.

Go through the rock garden next door and repeat step 10 four times. Run the wire through the beads to catch it and cut it.

Grab a rhinestone with tweezers or fine tip pliers and apply jewellery glue to the back of the rhinestone. Then apply it to the centre of the flower ear stud. Open the ring behind the stud and slide the woven drop into it before closing the ring.
