Take 7 irregular aquamarine beads, choose the one where the hole is not in the middle of the bead, then place them from the smallest to the largest, symmetrically going down the other side of the longest bead. Cut 60 cm of macramé wire.

Here's a necklace to wear all summer long, its slimness making it a featherweight-it's easy to forget it's around your neck. The color of the aquamarine stones is reminiscent of crystal-clear water, giving this necklace a fresh look. The weaving of the micro macramé thread is completely basic, making it ideal for beginners who've always wanted to try their hand at it.

Take 7 irregular aquamarine beads, choose the one where the hole is not in the middle of the bead, then place them from the smallest to the largest, symmetrically going down the other side of the longest bead. Cut 60 cm of macramé wire.

String your gemstone beads on the wire in order of length, placing a gold Miyuki bead on each side between the last two aquamarines. Add 2 golden metal discs, a round ceramic heishi bead, again a metal disc, a ceramic and then two Miyuki beads, doing the same on both sides.

Cut an extra long length of macramé wire, approx. 1.5 m. Tie a knot with this length directly on one of the wires next to the placed beads.
To ensure that you're comfortable while weaving, you'll need to tape the remaining wire on the other side to the table so that you can pull it tight.
Take the left-hand side of the thread and place it on the middle thread, making a loop as shown in the photo.

Form a second loop with the right-hand side of the wire, passing under the wire of the first loop and emerging in the left-hand loop.

Now pull on the ends of the two wires, keeping the middle one taut. By repeating this gesture without ever changing sides in relation to the loops, you'll be able to form a spiral. If you're familiar with macramé sliding flat knots, it's the same thing, but without changing sides.

This step isn't difficult, but it is time-consuming: cut the thread and make the second side. The braid should be between 15 and 20 cm long, depending on the length of your neck.

Create your clasp by threading one of the beads you set aside at the beginning through the wire on one side. It's best to have one where the hole is in the center of the stone. Pass the other two wires around the stone so that you can tie a knot with all 3 wires.
On the other side, braid the 3 wires over a length of 3 or 4 cm, folding in half to form a loop that you'll pass between the wires at the base of the braid. Tie a knot and now cut off the excess wires, then gently burn them, pressing them into the knots.
