How to make a pearl woven bracelet clasp?
At Perles and co, we have presented many ways to finish a bracelet on a loom . Metal end caps for weaving of different shapes with magnetic clasps, or a braid and sliding knot finish! Find all these finishes for different bracelets in the list below:
But we still have a technique of finishing pearl bracelets which we had not talked about: Finish a woven bracelet with soft leather or imitation leather (or even suede). The advantage of this finish is that it is inexpensive, because it requires little material and thus avoids the disadvantage of the metal end caps which one day oxidize. Be careful, leather is not eternal either! Take care and avoid water and chemicals!
It also gives a completely different style to your bracelet which will go perfectly with a relaxed or relaxing look for the summer. A tunic or a light white dress, a little tan and voila! Here you are paired with an irresistible boho chic style!
In this video we make leather end caps for a Miyuki delicas 11/0 pearl woven bracelet, as well as a macrame sliding knot. You can also choose to simply tie your bracelet with a knot each time.
Another little trick is hidden in the video: enlarge a loom that is too small. The trick is very simple! We also talk about it in the tutorial of the woven bracelet with sliding knot in the list of tutorials above.
