Thanks to Puca for sharing her tutorial.
Here are the abbreviations used in the step-by-step guide:
Step 1:
Glue your rhinestone onto the earring backing.

Step 2:
Thread the wire through a hole in the earring back from below, add 1 DB10, then thread the wire back through the same DB10 and the hole.

Step 3:
Thread the wire through the next hole, still coming from below.

Step 4:
We’ll now place the DB10s as in Step 2.

Step 5:
Turn the support over and tie a double knot.

Step 6:
Turn your work over, insert the DB 10, and place 1 R15, 1 SM, 1 R15.

Step 7:
Go around like this. Position yourself in the R15 (red arrow).

Step 8:
Between the R15s, place 1 R15 and go around like this.

Step 9:
This is the result.

Step 10:
Turn your work over and place 1 Bugle between the SMs at the top hole.

Step 11:
Work your way around like this.

Step 12:
Insert the Bugle.

Step 13:
Place 1 bugle on top of the existing bugle.

Step 14:
Place 1 R15 and 1 Bugle.

Step 15:
Place it in the next bugle and repeat Step 13.

Step 16:
Place the top bugle.

Step 17:
Continue around in this manner. Thread through all the top bugles, then squeeze to achieve a tight setting. Next, come around to the front and thread through DB 10.

Step 18:
Place 2 R15s between the DB10 and the bottom SM hole, then do the same on the other side. Continue around the loop in this manner.

Step 19:
Place 3 R15s between the two R15s above the SM.

Step 20:
Place 1 R11 between the first R15, and so on...

Step 21:
This is what you’ll end up with. Tighten slightly and secure your thread. Now you just need to make the second earring.

Your pair of ball earrings is finished!
