How to make a brazilian bracelet with diamonds?
A DIY activity for all ages and inexpensive, Brazilian bracelets are a must have classic. They are bracelets made of threads of different colours. To make them, you can use cotton skeins, DMC pearl cotton, C-LON Beading Cord or, as here, Linhasita thread. You can find a comparison of our threads for Brazilian bracelets in our data sheet "Which thread to choose for Brazilian bracelets ? ". In this video we use Linhasita waxed thread 1 mm but you can use Linhasita thread 0.5 mm for a thinner bracelet.
The threads are tied together with half key knots. The Brazilian bracelets are thus a kind of macramé bracelet. The diamond pattern is a little more complex than the others. If you are a beginner, please refer to our technical data sheets including "Learn how to make a Brazilian bracelet knot" and our easy models like the Brazilian bracelet with a herringbone or spike pattern.
You will find the complete list of necessary equipment at the bottom of the page.
