How to weave a bracelet with Kos® glass beads?

Here are the abbreviations used in the tutorial:

  • R8: seed bead 8/0
  • R15: seed bead 15/0
  • R11: seed bead 11/0
  • SM3: Mesh Strass 3 mm
  • B4: bicone 4 mm

Step 1 : Pick up 1 Kos®, 1 SB15, 1 SB8, 1 SB15 and pass through the same Kos® (second hole).

2nd step : Pick up 1 SB15, 1 Kos®, 3 SB15.

Step 3: Pass through the same Kos® (second hole), add 1 SB15 end pass to the Kos® and SB15.

Step 4: Pass through the beads and exit through the SB15 (between the Kos®).

Step 5: Pick up 3 SB15 and pass again through same SB (make a loop), then pass through the Kos®.

Step 6: Pass through the beads and exit through the SB15 (between the Kos®). Repeat step 5.

Step 7: Pass through the beads and exit through the 2nd SB15, above the Kos® (red arrow).

Step 8: Pick up 1 SB15, 1 Kos®, 1 MS3 (bottom hole), 1 Kos® and 3 SB15.

Step 9: Pass through same Kos® (second hole), add 1 MS3 (top hole), pass through the next Kos®, add 1 SB15 and pass through the next SB15 (middle).

Step 10: Repeat steps 7 to 9. Make 18 elements with MS3 for a 17 cm bracelet.

Step 11: For the last element don't use MS3! Repeat steps 2 to 7.

Step 12: Pass through the beads and exit through the 2nd SB15 (between Kos®). Add 1 SB11, 2 Kos®, 1 SB11 and pass through the MS3 (bottom hole).

Step 13:  Between SM3's add 1 SB11, 2 Kos® and 1 SB11. Repeat until you've passed the two parts of the bracelet.

Step 14: You will have this. Exit through the SB11.

Step 15: Pick up 2 SB15 and pass through the 2 Kos® (top hole).

Step 16: Pick up 1 Kos® and 2 SB15. Pass to the same Kos® (second hole) then pass through the next 2 Kos®. Repeat until you've passed the two parts of the bracelet.

Step 17: You will have this. Exit through the 2 SB15's.

Step 18: Between each group of 2 SB15 add 1 SB11, 1 B4, 1 SB11. Repeat until you've passed the two parts of the bracelet.

Step 19: You will have this.

Step 20: At the ends, add 1 jumpring in the SB8 and then add the clasp.
