How to make a long necklace with glass beads?
For your chic and elegant evenings, opt for a DIY pompom long necklace with the new Star Beads glass beads by Perles and Co. French designer Puca shares her tutorial on how to create this magnificent pendant. You'll set Amos, Minos, Sart beads and Miyuki Delicas beads around a PureCrystal rivoli cabochon.

Here are the abbreviations used in the step-by-step :
Step 1:
Thread 36 DB and close.

Step 2:
Make 4 rows of peyote in all.

Step 3:
Make 2 rows with R15 and tighten well.

Step 4:
Turn over your work. Bring your yarn into the DB and place your rivoli.

Step 5:
Make 2 rows of R15, tighten well and come to stand in the 3 rd row of DB.

Step 6:
Place 1 DB.

Step 7:
Pass 5 DB and place 1DB etc. Go around like this.

Step 8:
Place 1 Minos, 1SB, 1Minos between each DB. Go round like this.

Step 9:
You get this. Then move to the 2nd row of DBs.

Step 10:
Between the DBs (red dot) place 5 R15s.

Step 11:
View from above.
Continue to place the 5 R15s all the way around.

Step 12:
You get this.
Come and stand in the DB between the Minos.

Step 13:
Place 5 R11s in a loop and go around several times to consolidate (we'll attach our chain).

Step 14:
You get this.

Step 15:
Do the same thing opposite 5 R11.

Step 16:
You get this, then close the wire.

Step 17:
Take a new wire.
Place 1Minos, 1SB, 1Minos between the SBs. We'll go around like this.

Step 18:
You get this. Close your thread.

Step 19:
Repeat step 17.

Step 20:
You get this and close your thread.

Step 21:
Take a new thread and between each SB place 1 Minos.

Step 22:
You get this.

Step 23:
Cut the tassel staple.

Step 24:
Place the pom-pom in your work and tighten your Minos.

Step 25:
You get this.

Step 26:
Careful! Pass your needle through the pom-pom (inside) and back and forth several times to hold the pom-pom firmly in place. This way, it won't move.

Step 27:
Then place yourself in the Minos.

Step 28:
Place in the Minos loop 5 R15.

Step 29:
You get this. Continue step 28 in each Minos.

Step 30:
Come and place yourself in the central R15.

Step 31:
Place 2 R15, 1 Amos, 2 R15 between the central R15.

Step 32:
You get this.

Step 33:
Place 2 R15 on each side of the Amos for a nice finish.

Step 34:
You get this.

Step 35:
Place your chain on each side of your rivoli and your DIY pompom necklace is now complete.
