How to Make a Pair of Modular Earrings?

Want to create simple jewelry that can be customized to suit your style, mood, and outfit? Here’s a quick tutorial you’re sure to love! A pretty pair of earrings made with pom-poms, a short piece of silk thread, and drop earrings.

STEP 1

Attach the pompom to the earring backing using the oval ring.

STEP 2

Tie a knot with the silk thread around the openwork teardrop and start winding it around. Once finished, gently apply a dot of glue. When it’s dry, trim off the excess thread.

STEP 3

Assemble the earring by threading the openwork drop and the hammered drop onto the earring post.

You’re done! Since the drops aren’t attached to the earring post, you can easily remove and reattach the pieces to create a different look...
