How to mount pearls inside creoles ?
Follow this Facebook Live from Friday, October 6, 2017 to learn how to mount beads crosswise on mounting rings to create beautiful creoles with your pearl stock ends.
Mix beads of different sizes and colors. Use Miyuki or Preciosa seedbeads, gemstone beads or even mini-hematites for a successful mix!
A few tips :
You can use the Tool Dip product to surround your pliers with a coating that will limit marks and scratches on nails and rings.
Once the beads are threaded onto the nail and the nail on one side, pinch the nail between your fingers at the junction with the ring and bend it toward you. Then turn the rod around the mounting ring with your fingers and then continue to turn with flat nose pliers. Pull tight so that the rod wraps around the mounting ring. Do it all in one and a half turn. Cut the nail and flatten the end against the ring.
Place the nails and turn the stems in the same direction for a more aesthetic result.
