Start by cutting 20cm of chain and adding the snap hook with a ring to one end. On the other end, hang the pendant.
Cut 30cm of nylon thread and pass it through the end of the chain on which you have hung the pendant. Slip a wire protector over the thread and pass the nylon thread again through the bead to be crushed, leaving about 2cm of thread protruding from the bead. Your wire should wrap around the chain link. Tighten the crush bead with the appropriate pliers, then add a crush bead cover.
String 3 mother-of-pearl tube beads, making sure to slide the protruding thread into the bead to hide it. Then add a gold bead and repeat with 3 tube beads until you obtain the length of your choice.
Once you've finished threading the beads, slip a squeeze bead onto the wire, then add a ring before threading the wire back through the squeeze bead to lock it in place. Tighten your crush bead and add a crush bead cover on top, as in step 2. Then slide 2cm of wire into the mother-of-pearl tube beads to hide it.
