04:20 Weaving the beads
To integrate beads of different sizes into a loom bead weave, there are a few tricks to the trade. Firstly, the difference in size must be gradual. If you're using beads of different sizes, start by weaving the largest and then gradually decrease the size. Secondly, in some cases, it may be preferable to remove some of the warp threads. This is the case in this beaded loom bracelet. We're going to remove the second and penultimate warp threads to make room for our large central beads. This will require 8 warp threads.
If you'd like to make a simpler weave, without the faceted Bohemian beads in the center, replace them with red or gold Delica 11/0 and place 10 warp threads. To add a pretty original touch, you can replace the two wires at the edge of the bracelet with gold or colored thread. This is an optional extra.
To accompany this Miyuki loom bracelet, I suggest you make other small, easy bead bracelets with the rest of the beads. Take inspiration from the two proposed bracelets, or create your own with Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads. One of the bracelets features pearly beads and Tulip-shaped beads. The second features Miyuki Delica weave beads, Seed beads 8/0 and a pretty golden flower bead. You can finish them either with cord ends and a clasp, or with stopper beads. Stopper beads are in the product variations section of the hardware list.
This set of Seed beads and glass bead bracelets is the perfect way to add a splash of color at the start of summer. Wear them with a simple blouse, a burgundy or emerald top, or with a pretty pastel pink fluffy sweater. It goes with so many different colors.
