What better way to treat yourself than to create your own jewelry? In this tutorial, discover how to make pearly fringe earrings from natural stones, a simple yet elegant piece of jewelry. Aimed at beginners and experienced designers alike, this project was originally a tutorial for the magazine L'Atelier Déco et Création n°62, now known as Le Nouvel Atelier des Nanas.
This easy-to-make yet chic piece of jewelry is a great way to delve into the world of jewelry design, while making a timeless piece that will remain treasured in your collection. This jewel is distinguished by its soft, refined colors, and can be worn in all seasons. Combining mother-of-pearl, green and gold, these earrings are suitable for any occasion, whether enhancing a light summer outfit or complementing an elegant winter dress. Pearly bead bangs add movement and lightness, while natural stones, chosen for their authentic beauty, add a warm, natural dimension to the design. The green of the malachite stones blends harmoniously with the subtle brilliance of the natural mother-of-pearl and the golden color of the Seed beads and earstuds, creating a perfect balance between modernity and elegance.
These dangling earrings are not only a must-have fashion accessory, they're also very easy to wear! To further personalize this natural stone jewel, you can change the cabochon, which in this tutorial is green natural stone, and choose a color of your choice, or you can choose the silver earstuds. If you're into jewelry-making, you can challenge yourself and make several variations of these earrings, and why not add a bracelet to create a sort of ensemble. So, what do you think?

Create pendants by stringing the beads of your choice onto a ball-head nail. Play with lengths and colors to create a cluster. To make the loop at the end of the nail, you have two options: form the loop with round pliers or with a One Step Looper.

Prepare as many bead pendants as you wish. Remember that a minimum of 8 pendants is required to achieve a cluster effect. Adjust the diameter of the ring if you want a larger cluster.

Gather all the pendants you've created on an open ring and insert it into the ring under the stud. Close the open ring.

Glue the 8x6mm cabochons to your earstuds using jewel glue. Allow to dry before wearing.
