Crimp the cabochons using simple flat-nose pliers or flat-nose pliers with nylon tips. Check that they no longer move in the crimps. If they still move, continue to fold the crimp claws over the cabochon.
My dearest designers, in this season when every evening seems an invitation to dream, why not add a touch of sparkle and mystery to your evening wear with these vintage bow earrings? From the Bal d'Hiver collection, these sumptuous jewels recall the splendors of balls of yesteryear, when elegant women vied with each other in ingenuity to captivate attention. I invite you to discover the other tutorials in the collection, which are sure to delight and inspire you to create vintage jewelry to wear for the festive season.
These earrings feature a delicate midnight-blue satin bow and a blue crystal that sparkles like a precious stone. The earrings are sewn to the bow with an invisible thread. The crystal is set in a vintage rhinestone setting in raw brass. To hold the cabochon firmly in the setting, you'll need to use flat jewelry pliers to help fold the crimp's claws over the crystal. These earrings are available in two versions in our tutorial: Black with oval crystal cabochons or Blue with rectangular cabochons. For a more personal look, other crystal colors are also available: choose shades that complement your festive outfits and express your creativity.
Whether to brighten up your festive evenings or to offer a precious, handmade gift, these bow and crystal earrings are the perfect detail for a wintry, romantic and vintage look. Join the Winter Ball and let your hands shape these poetic, sparkling jewels. Because, ladies and gentlemen, it doesn't take much to create jewelry worthy of high society, just a little passion and know-how.

Cut 30 cm of thread. Double it over the needle and make a double knot at the end. Sew the stud earring to the back of the satin bow. Do the same with the oval or rectangle crimp. Make a double knot to stop the thread.
Put a little glue between the stud and the knot, then between the knot and the crimp to glue the knot in place. Wait 24 hours before wearing the earrings.
