The first necklace is a delicate composition of Mousse Agate, enhanced by an aventurine pearl. This is framed by gilded stainless steel flower rings. The green hues of Agate Mousse are reminiscent of woodland landscapes. The second necklace is composed mainly of Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads in shades of green and gold, which blend harmoniously with tinted jade beads. This necklace is thinner and more delicate so that it can blend harmoniously between the other two necklaces. The third necklace has a drop pendant in green-tinted onyx, set in the center of the necklace. Framed by gilded stainless steel flower rings, this pretty green pendant will set off your white or floral blouse beautifully.
These necklaces breathe a bohemian spirit into your look, using raw, natural materials. Bohemian or boho jewelry often uses a mix of textures and raw colors. Natural stone beads and pendants, such as Agate Mousse, aventurine and tinted onyx, are beautiful elements that add authenticity to necklaces. Miyuki delica 11/0 beads are very fine glass beads. They add detail and finesse to the ensemble. The bag of golden Miyuki pearls contains a large number of pearls, so you can create many more necklaces. What's more, they're coated with a varnish that ensures their longevity. The clasps and metal parts are made of gold-plated stainless steel. This metal is resistant to oxidation. So you can wear your necklaces for years to come!
In the tutorial, I ran the wire twice through a crush bead, flattened it, then folded a knot cover over it. I wanted to offer a different finish, both aesthetic and easy for a beginner to achieve. Usually, crush beads are flattened with crush bead pliers, which flatten and fold the bead in half, then place a crush bead cover on top. This is the most classic finish, but quite difficult to achieve. Knot covers, on the other hand, are usually made with a thicker thread on which a knot is tied. As the thread used here is thin, because the pearls have tiny holes, I chose this combination of thin thread + crushable pearls (which replace the knots) + knot covers. If you're accustomed to finishing with crush beads and crush bead covers, you can of course use this method.
Note that you need to adjust the lengths of the cut wires to the desired necklace size. If it says 38 cm, but you want a 42 cm necklace instead, cut a wire at least 4 cm longer than indicated.
