Many thanks to Cécile for this poetic springtime creation and happy weaving!

Before getting started

To bring out the natural look, the designer has chosen to create a non-symmetrical pattern. If you prefer a symmetrical pattern, choose one side of the diagram to weave as a mirror image.

STEP 1

Start by weaving the pattern at the arrow as shown in the diagram below.

You'll start by assembling the first row in ladder stitch. First, cut 2 m of thread. Then thread each end of the thread through a needle.

For the first row, following the grid, thread the first bead using one needle and pass through using the second needle, then pull the thread through. Repeat these steps for the second bead in the grid, and so on until the end of the first row.

Continue weaving.

STEP 2

Once the weave is complete, place an open ring at each end of the weave. Then place the desired length of serpentine chain and close the rings. To use the serpentine chain, add mini lace clips to the ends (you can add a dab of jewelry glue before tightening the mini clips with the chain).

For a pretty result, we recommend wearing it close to the neck. For this summer, this sakura branch (cherry blossom) can be used in brighter tones!
