Pass the nail through the heart beads of your choice.

The heart is one of the most popular designs in jewelry. We love to wear them on necklaces and bracelets. But what we like best is to slip it onto our earrings! So we've come up with the perfect beginner's tutorial for making pretty heart earrings in the blink of an eye. All you need is a little patience, some gorgeous heart beads, ear studs, good jewelry pliers... and a few minutes.
We made these original earrings with heart beads, which we slipped onto a jewelry stud. The only real "technical difficulty" lies in forming a loop on the stud, so that the heart can then be attached to the ear stud. If you're a beginner, take a look at our technique sheet to learn how to make a simple loop.
To keep with the theme, we've chosen heart-shaped ear studs, but you can just as easily choose the ones you like from our wide range ofjewelry primers.
If you'd like to adapt the length of your earrings to your morphology or taste, simply insert pearls to act as spacers. Add 1, 2 or 3 pearls as you wish!
There are so many colors of heart pearls to combine, it's hard to know which to choose. To give you an idea of what you can do, we've included several colorful earring designs, and you'll find all the materials you need at the bottom of the page. Get inspired and create!
We hope you enjoyed creating these dangling earrings as much as we did. Don't hesitate to show us your lovely creations by sharing them on our Facebook page and Instagram account, tagging Perles & Co in your post.
Pass the nail through the heart beads of your choice.
For this jewel, you'll need to form a loop. The loop should be as close as possible to the heart beads.
You can use :
- a pair of loop-forming pliers. Tiffanie explains how to use them in a video,
- flat-nose pliers and round-nose pliers - this sheet will help you if you use this method.
Don't close the loop completely to insert the stud.
Pass the ear stud through the loop formed in the previous step, and tighten the loop with flat-nose pliers.
