Are you looking to enhance your back-to-school outfits? You've come to the right place! Discover our pair of mismatched Gemstones and Stainless Steel earrings!
For this tutorial, we've focused on Rose Quartz, but you'll find all our gemstone primers on this page!
Renowned for its great beauty and soft color, rose quartz has been prized since Antiquity to honor the gods, as well as in jewelry and other fields such as watchmaking and lithotherapy. It is used to make a wide range of jewelry items, such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings...
The rest of the tutorial is made up of 316L and 304 Stainless Steel primers, enhanced with 4 mm Rose Quartz Heart Beads and 6 mm Rose Quartz Round Cabochons. It is entirely possible to choose a different style of stone. You can find all the 6 mm round cabochons right here and the 4 mm Heart beads on this page. If you'd like a different style, you can vary your creation with our 4mm star gemstone beads.
For more personalization, you can also adjust the length of the chain and use a charm other than the one we're using for this tutorial. Here you'll find all the stainless steel charms we sell!
Now you're ready to make YOUR very own pair of mismatched earrings with the help of the materials list!

Glue the cabochons to the nails.
For maximum drying, leave to dry for 24 hours.

For the first loop, open and thread a ring through the ring of one of the studs with the cabochon.

Then slip on the star charm and close the ring.

For the second loop, open and thread a new ring through the ring of the other nail with the cabochon.

Then cut 7.5 cm of the chain.
(You can, of course, take more or less chain, depending on your preferences).
Thread the chain onto the ring and close it.

Take one of the sleepers and open the ring.

Hang the chain 5 cm from the ring so that 2.5cm of chain remains dangling. Then close the sleeper ring.

String two heart beads on a nail and form a loop, but don't close it completely.

Hook the loop onto the end of the dangling chain and close it.
Your assembly is now complete.
