To start your necklace, assemble the number of links together.
For the tutorial, I've chosen 7 links, but you can adapt the number to your desired length.

Looking for a trendy DIY jewelry project? Look no further, we've got just the tutorial for you! Very accessible to beginners thanks to its simple assembly and affordable budget, this tutorial will teach you how to create a necklace with large links. Large links have made a comeback in recent months to accessorize your most beautiful outfits. You can wear them as phone chains, bag handles, bracelets, necklaces or earrings. In short, they're everywhere.
For this tutorial, we suggest you make an assortment of necklaces and earrings for a trendy summer look. Assemble large acrylic links together and combine them with an aluminum chain to make your necklace. For earrings, nothing could be simpler: just add a few links to our stud earrings and your pair will already be finished. To keep with the trend, we've chosen orange tones for this tutorial, the color of the moment. However, we have a wide choice of link colors on our site, so you're bound to find what you're looking for.
Of course, this tutorial can be customized. You can choose to add more or fewer links to either the necklace or the earrings, depending on how you want to look. For even more fantasy, you can also make a matching bracelet. Take enough links to go around your wrist, add two rings at each end and a clasp, and you're done! If you need further explanations, please refer to our DIY large link bracelet tutorial.

To start your necklace, assemble the number of links together.
For the tutorial, I've chosen 7 links, but you can adapt the number to your desired length.

Next, take the chain and cut two equal lengths. Here, I've cut each length to about 18 cm.
Then, open a ring of the chain at one end and add the golden twisted oval ring. Do the same for the second length.

Take your length of acrylic links and add the two golden twisted rings on either side of the links.

Take one end of your necklace and add a simple ring. Then take the other end of the necklace and add a ring and clasp.
Depending on the length of your necklace, this step may be optional. In fact, if your necklace is long enough, you can open and close it by clipping and unclipping an orange link. This eliminates the need for rings and clasps.

Matching earrings is easy. Take your stud earring and add the number of links you'd like.
Here, I've chosen to add two links to make a 3-link earring.
