In this tutorial, Tiffanie suggests you make a pretty cuff bracelet pattern woven with Miyuki pearls. This pearl weaving pattern is part of the former cherry blossom miyuki weaving kit available in 2018, as a limited edition. Those who missed this weaving pattern will be delighted to find it here.
In this tutorial, we suggest you make two versions: one with a dominant blue color and the other with a dominant pink color. Of course, you can select different colors according to your tastes and desires, from our wide range of Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads. Create any combination of bead colors you like. Then simply follow the diagram.
On the technical side, we've already used the odd peyote weaving technique. This is a needle-weaving technique that doesn't require a loom. Unlike brick stitch, the pearls are positioned in a staggered pattern. We've already seen the odd peyote weave with this woven miyuki cuff bracelet and this other miyuki cuff bracelet. If you can't get started with your DIY jewelry, take a look at our data sheet on how to start an odd peyote bracelet, or use the quick start peyote, a tool with small notches that will be a great help.
This method of weaving pearls creates a woven bracelet that ends in a point. We have not woven the bracelet with weaving tips to finish it off. To hang the clasp and extension chain, we simply hooked closed rings on each side.
