How to make extra-large tassel earrings?

Shine all year round with these earrings inspired by the "caliente" Andalusian region. They'll warm up your look and add a touch of originality and "Spanish exoticism" to your outfits. This extra-simple DIY jewelry tutorial simply involves cutting and sewing elements onto openwork spacers.

Choose from our selection of lasercut pendants and spacers, and pick your favorite colors of 30 mm imitation cotton pompons.

Please note: you can decorate both sides of the earrings (front and back), or just one side. Decorating the earrings on both sides will hide the sewing threads. The material list corresponds to a pair of earrings decorated on one side only. For the 2 sides of each earring, double the quantity of PureCrystal pompons and sewing stones.

Step 1:
Cut 9 pieces of 9 cm chain, or less if you'd like slightly shorter earrings. Attach a 6 mm gold sequin to each chain with a 3.3 mm open ring. Sew the chains to the raspberry lasercut pendant in the positions shown in the photo. Tie a knot with the thread on the spacer, thread through the chain, then through the pendant at least 3-4 times to secure the chain to the pendant.

Step 2:
Sew the tassels to the spacer either on one side only, or on both sides if you've decided to make double-sided earrings. If you're making single-sided earrings, the thread will be slightly visible at the back. The advantage of double-sided earrings is that the tassels will hide the threads. In this case, sew both tassels together.

Step 3:
Sew the PureCrystal sewing stone onto the spacer, then connect the earring to the ear hook with two 5 mm rings. Repeat these steps for the other earring.

That's it! Your earrings are ready!
