This tutorial shows you 3 assorted jewelry pieces to make with leather scraps. Make a pair of earrings, a necklace and a leather bracelet for women. These luxury leather scraps are sold by 400 gr and are composed of random colors. You will not necessarily have the same colors as in this tutorial. On the other hand, some batches are gathered by types of colors. You will find the different leather scraps packs in the list at the bottom of the page. These leather scraps come from a company in the Tarn region. Perles and Co is also located in Tarn in France. Did you know that? Start by copying the pattern and cutting out the different pieces. Then trace them onto the back of the leather pieces. Take scraps of leather of the same thickness. For each piece of jewelry you need: Earrings - 2 x n°1, 4 x n°2, 4 x n°3 - Necklace - 1 x n°1, 2 x n°2, 2 x n°3 - Bracelet - 2 x n°1, 4 x n°2, 4 x n°3.
Cut out the leather pieces and glue them together following the pattern. You must apply the glue on the edges in contact.
Then glue the design to the back of the earrings by putting glue on the earring only on the part covered by the leather.
While the glue is drying, thread a bead onto 2 studs, bend the stud at a right angle to the bead, cut 0.7 mm from the bead hole and form a loop with a round clip. Then attach this to the earrings. Put a dab of glue or clear varnish at the junction of the earring ring and the stud to prevent the stud from coming loose.
For the necklace, glue the leather pattern into the clip and close it. Attach it to the center of the chain with a small ring and then add the clasp and extension chain with a ring as well. Put glue or varnish on the joints of the rings.
For the bracelet, measure the center of the band before gluing the 2 leather patterns on either side. Then glue the PureCrystal pearl cabochon on top.
