Earrings with Gold Filled elements, drop interlay and spike chain

What to do with leftover warp?

Christmas preparations are in full swing and time is running out? Well, we offer you an easy tutorial to make in less than 20 minutes a very nice pair of earrings perfect for the holiday season . A gift to be made for yourself or to offer to his girlfriend!

Find here an easy DIY to make a pair of earrings made with elements in Gold Filled ... But do you know the accessories and primers in 14ct Gold Filled for the DIY creation of your costume jewelry?

A true alternative to gold, the Gold Filled makes it possible to make fancy jewelery with a rendering similar to that of the gold jewels and this at a lower cost. Much more resistant than a classic gold plated, a gold filled product will oxidize much less quickly.

A big thank you to Mademoiselle Graphic who realized this step-by-step to create a jewel both refined and graphic.

Step 1

First, determine the length of your enamelled spike chain you will need. The interleaves drops having an interior space of 25 mm, we start on a chain of 4 ears or 17 mm. To avoid damaging the enamel of the chain by wanting to open it with pliers, you can simply cut it at the next ear.

2nd step

Open a 4 mm diameter Gold Filled ring with 2 tweezers, rotating each on one side.

Step 3

Thread the ring into the spike chain and connect it all to the inner ring of your dropper. To close the ring, help yourself again with your 2 clips. So that your chain is well positioned from the front, connect it with the tip of the ears to the bottom.

Step 4

To bring more shine to our earrings we will add PureCrystal Drops 7x4 mm Crystal. Open another ring and connect the crystal to the tip of the spur chain.

Step 5

Open a Gold Filled earrings hook with a round tweezer by simply swiveling on the ring. Then put it on the outer ring of your insert drip and close the ring of your hook. The earrings have the same front and back, the meaning of your hook does not matter.
