You are a beader or a seamstress and you don't know how to store your pair of scissorsyour favorite? Or worse, like your keys, you don't know where you left them and you're in trouble. Because yes, you can't do without them, and your scissors are used for everything: cutting a thread, a piece of fabric or a macramé cord.
Don't panic, @Delphiny has found the solution. Combine the useful with the pleasant and enjoy weaving a creation that will accompany you in your daily DIY work. In this tutorial she suggests you to make a case with Miyuki Delicas 11/0 beads using the brick stitch technique. For beginners in bead weaving, please consult our technical sheet :How to make a brick sttich bead weave with increases and decreases?
On the practical side, a linen insert is provided at the back of the case to hold your needles (sewing, bead weaving). As for dimensions, the final case measures 11cm high, and 8.2cm wide max. But for bigger scissors, we let you adapt the measurements. As for the colors, the contrast between a white and a taupe gives a natural effect to this case. But we can't tell you enough, choose the colours of your choice: - multicolour for a colourful creation - a gradient of your favourite colour

Follow the arrow to make the first line of the back weave. Then weave the part above and below following the diagram.
Step 3
3/ Back weaving : how to join the 2 woven parts
My technique:
To join the 2 woven parts of the back to start again on a complete line weaving (see arrow on the drawing), I first weave the part 1 in yellow, then the part 2 in yellow, separately. Then I just have to join the two red beads of part 3. A whole line is thus reconstituted and it is then possible to resume weaving at one of the ends of the following line to continue the weaving.
Step 4
4/ Glue a fabric on the back side
Choose one of the sides of the finished back weaving (it doesn't matter which side), cut a fabric to the dimensions of the case (allow 1 cm of margin all around the openwork part) and glue it.
Hold under press until the fabric is perfectly glued to the weave.
Step 5
5/ Assemble the front and the back :
All that remains is to assemble the front and back of the case.
Place the part of the back with the fabric against one of the sides of the front.
Step 6
5/ Continued :
The drawings above represent the top left part of the diagram. We begin to assemble the 2 sides by the top of the case (part with opening to slide the scissors).
1/ After having passed the thread through several beads to fix it, introduce the needle in the direction of the arrow, at the level of the bead at the end of the1st row of the back side.
2/ Then enter the bead located at the same level but on the front face, in the direction of the arrow. Repeat 1/ and 2/ to solidify the beginning of the assembly before moving on to step 3/.
3/ & 4/ pass the needle through the beads on the side then underneath, in the direction of the arrows.
5/ Pull out in the bead at the end of the front side, at the level of the 2nd row, in the direction of the arrow.
6/ Pass back through the bead at the end of the 2nd row of the back side, in the direction of the arrow.
7/ Pass through the bead at the end of the 3rd row of the back side, in the direction of the arrow.
8/ Pass the needle through the bead at the end of the 3rd row of the front face, in the direction of the arrow.
And continue in this way for the rest of the assembly, taking up the instruction from point 3/.
