Vintage chain bracelet with large links and resin pucks

How to make an XXL jewel ?

Do you like XXL jewelry? So do we! You are in the right place. The large mesh chain and the irregular olive shape of the flat resin beads make it possible to make original, but above all trendy jewellery. Find your happiness easily! Sober, coloured, golden or silver version, infinite choices to create XXL jewels. Like these fancy earrings in resin Terracotta beads. Another tutorial that follows the aspirations of the moment.

Learn how to assemble purple and white resin beads with a large chain and gold flower cups. A mix of colors that fits perfectly. This chic and elegant bracelet with its bright colors is ideal to add THE trendy touch to your outfit. To create a 2 in 1 XXL jewel, add a longer chain to transform this bracelet into a necklace with the beads as pendants.

You are free to personalize this bracelet according to your desires. You can take this apricot bead in autumn colors to replace the purple beads. But also choose other cups and another chain. With this bracelet you can add another bracelet XXL or accumulate other thin bracelet to add contrast on your wrist.

It's up to you! Share your creation on our social networks.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Measure a piece of chain half the size of your wrist. Cut this chain in half.

Step 2

Cut a piece of brass wire. Form a loop at the end of the wire.

Insert the elements in this order to start:

  • One gold flower cup
  • One purple flat bead
  • One gold round bead
  • One resin round bead
  • One gold round bead
  • A flat purple pearl
  • A golden flower cup

Close the wire with another loop.

Step 3

Hook one of the loops and a piece of chain together with an open ring.

Repeat this step with the other loop.

Step 4

Add an open ring at the end of a chain.

Insert the clasp to the ring.

And there you have it, an easy bracelet to make!

Tip: If the bracelet is too big or too small add or remove rings from the chain.
